Jaimie Matzko is the director of communications and development at Discover Life in America (DLiA), where she helps connect people to science and stories of biodiversity in the Smokies and beyond. Before joining DLiA, Jaimie worked as a naturalist and educator with the Tremont Institute, A Walk in the Woods Guide Service, and REI Adventures. She holds an associates degree in natural and cultural Interpretation from Hocking College in her home state of Ohio and a B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Tennessee.
