Add to your baseball cap collection with the Great Smoky Mountains National Park fitted elk hat. Elk once roamed the southern Appalachians but were eliminated by unregulated hunting and loss of habitat. In 2001 and 2002, the National Park Service reintroduced a small number of elk to Cataloochee Valley in the Smokies. Since then, the original herd has grown and splintered to other areas in and around the park. This hat is made of 100% polyester and comes in brown color and two sizes:
Medium: fits hat size 7 to 7 1/4
Large: fits hat size 7 1/4 to 7 1/2
All proceeds generated through the sale of Smokies Life merchandise go to Great Smoky Mountains National Park to support projects and services.
