Turkey Pen Trail (B-E): Some Sourwood foliage is colorful. Few Blueberry and Winged Sumac are colorful.
Schoolhouse Gap Trail (B to Turkey Pen Trail): A couple of beautiful and colorful Virginia Creepers.
Bote Mountain Trail (B to Finely Cane Trail): One Red Maple tree very beautiful. After the first mile some of the Sourwood foliage is really nice.

Lumber Ridge Trail (B-E): Some of the Blueberry and Sourwood are changing to fall colors. A few Red Maple, Sassafras, and Sugar Maple are changing to fall colors.

Rich Mountain Loop Trail (B-E): Some of the Blue Berry, Dogwood, Red Maple, Sugar Maple and Sourwood’s foliage is changing colors.
Crooked Arm Trail (B-E): The foliage is starting to change colors on some of the Red Maple and Sourwood. Some very colorful Sourwood.
Indian Grave Trail (From Crooked Arm Trail to Rich Mountain Loop Trail): Some of the Red Maple and Sourwood leaves are changing colors. Some of the Sourwood are becoming very colorful.

The Great Smokies Welcome Center is located on U.S. 321 in Townsend, TN, 2 miles from the west entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Visitors can get information about things to see and do in and around the national park and shop from a wide selection of books, gifts, and other Smokies merchandise. Daily, weekly, and annual parking tags for the national park are also available.
